The Week of June 9-13 found 59 children and 22 staff members learning how we can serve Jesus and others at home and in the world. The whole area known as “God’s Big Back Yard”.
The children received a “serving hand” when they performed a service at home or at VBS. The hands were put on our “big back yard fence” for all to see.

Trinity's chapter of the LWML hosted a reception for representitives of Building Hope in the City. This included a presentation on the exciting mission work happening in our own backyard. Women (and a couple of gentlemen) from around the Northeast Ohio Zone of the LWML were included for an evening of fellowship, food, and enlightenment.

"Why Fire?" was the theme for the 2008 gathering at Sawmill Creek which took place from March 7th through the 9th. The Why Fire? theme was chosen by the youth and the adults on the ministry team because everyday God's chosen children deal with wondering why they are going through certain circumstances of living, including all the highs and lows. Through presentations, music, Bible studies, skits, worship, and group family times, it is hoped that the youth and the adults in attendance at "Why Fire?" saw that God is with them every step of the way.
